Frequently Ask Questions
Have questions about our mission, donations, or how your support makes a difference?
Qurbani 2026 corresponds to Dhul Hijjah 1447 in the Islamic calendar. Eid ul-Adha is expected around 26 to 28 June 2026, subject to the moon sighting. The days of Qurbani are the 10th, 11th, and 12th of Dhul Hijjah. We recommend donating in advance so your Qurbani can be arranged and carried out on time.
In 2025, your generous donations enabled Alauddin Siddiqui Trust to perform 159 cow Qurbanis, 65 goat Qurbanis, and 7 camel Qurbanis. Every sacrifice was conducted under the supervision of Hazrat Khawaja Pir Noor ul Arfeen and distributed to vulnerable families on the days of Eid. Your support continues to reach communities that most charities simply cannot access.
Alauddin Siddiqui Trust distributes Qurbani meat to some of the world’s most underserved communities, with a focus on Pakistan and other Muslim-majority regions facing poverty and hardship. Our teams work under the direct guidance of Hazrat Khawaja Pir Noor ul Arfeen to ensure meat reaches widows, orphans, elderly people, and families with no other source of food on Eid day.
A single Goat Qurbani (from £150) provides fresh, halal meat to an entire family that would otherwise go without on Eid. A Cow Share (from £85) feeds multiple households as part of a full cow distributed between seven families. A Full Cow (£595) or Full Camel (£1,400) can feed dozens of people across an entire village. Every donation, whatever the size, carries the full Sunnah reward.
Qurbani is Wajib (obligatory) for every Muslim adult who is of sound mind and possesses wealth above the Nisab threshold on the days of Eid ul-Adha. If you are eligible to give Zakat, you are in most cases also required to perform Qurbani. You may also give Qurbani on behalf of a deceased family member as an act of Sadaqah Jariyah.
Yes. It is permissible and highly recommended to perform Qurbani on behalf of a parent, spouse, or any loved one who has passed away. Simply mention this when donating, and the full reward will be dedicated to them, in sha Allah.
All Qurbanis performed by Alauddin Siddiqui Trust are carried out under the personal supervision of Hazrat Khawaja Pir Noor ul Arfeen Sajjada Nasheen Siddiqui (D.B.A). Our process is fully Shariah-compliant. We provide updates via NOOR TV (Sky Channel 738) and through our website. You can also reach our team directly on 01215516300.
